How To Work With Patient Appointment Reminder Feature

Patient Appointment Reminder feature helps providers to send reminders to patients prior to their booked appointments. In return, Providers can receive response from the patients, whether the request is accepted or cancelled. The Providers can send these reminders in different ways; via phone call, voice mail, text message, or email. The patients can receive these appointment reminders from the facility they are registered with and can respond to such reminders.

 

On the Schedule Appointment screen, the appointment reminder icon is displayed on the top right corner. Clicking this icon opens the Patient Appointment Reminder screen where you can submit reminders to the patients for their booked appointments. Also you can customize the message before sending reminders to the patients.

Pre-Requisites

Enable the Appointment Reminder feature with the help of InSync EMR support.
Record patient’s phone number, mobile number, and email address when adding a patient in the system.
