Working with Antepartum Form

The Antepartum Form helps recording and maintaining detailed information about patient’s pregnancy in structured way. It facilitates creating antepartum report automatically once user enters antepartum details in the module. The Antepartum Form helps users to:

 

Capture the detailed plan and flowsheet for patient’s pregnancy.
Book the follow-up appointments as per the patient’s clinical requirements.
Calculate the EDD (Estimated Date of Delivery) using patients LMP (Last Menstrual Period), Initial Visit, or the date of ultrasound test.
Fax the antepartum form along with the Encounter note to the designated labor and delivery facility which has been assigned as Hospital of Delivery.
Generate the Antepartum Report for the details recorded in recent 5 visits.
End the pregnancy record whenever required.

 

Prerequisites:

 

The Antepartum Form charting element can be accessed only if provider specialty is selected as Ob/Gyn on the Resource Management screen. Also, The Antepartum Form charting elements can be accessed only;

ofor female patients.
owhen it is configured for the provider from the Charting Sequence screen.
owhen the encounter is started with following encounter types; Antenatal Visit or Antenatal Visit followup.

 

Note: By default, these encounter types are listed in Inactive Encounter Types on the Clinical Master screen. You must activate these to have this feature enabled.
