Once all charge information has been validated and scrubbed, click the “Save & Generate” button or press "Alt + G"; this will take all the information from the New Charge screen and apply it to the claim.
Note: Sometimes the user may want to create a charge for the record purpose without claiming it. The system allows the user to save an entire charge for $0.00.
Once the claim has been generated, it will reside in the Billing tab under “Claims Processing,” where it can then be printed or transmitted by the user to the clearinghouse. For additional information, please reference the Claims Processing section.
Note: You may update the claim attribute using the drop down list from the grid, you do not need to save the claim here; however when you update the attribute when the claim is in the editing mode, you must save the claim to see the effect of updated attribute.
