A report is any informational work made with the specific intention of relaying information or recounting certain events in a widely presentable form. In InSync, users can generate various reports that are categorized as follows:

 

Scheduler Reports
Patient Reports
Utilization Reports
Financial Reports
Aging Reports
Payer Reports
Reconciliation Reports
Billing Reports
Audit Reports

 

The users should have permissions to work with respective reports. Permissions can be assigned from the Roles and Permissions section of Administration.

 

On the left side of the InSync Home screen, click Reports tab. The list of different reports that can be generated is displayed. Here is a quick summary of reports generated in each category. Later in the manual, each report is explained in detail.

 

Scheduler Reports: These reports are generated based on appointments scheduled for the patient and the appointment reminders that have sent to the patient.

 

Patient Reports: These reports are generated based on patient demographics details. You can generate the clinical summary for single or multiple patients. You can also generate a health summary report (patient-specific and encounter-specific).

 

Utilization Reports: Reports generated are based on:

Test orders pending with result
Immunizations that are due
Immunization records not submitted to the registry
Health maintenance that is due
Illnesses diagnosed
Drugs prescribed
Patient’s visit date
Quality reports (Core, Menu, and Alternate Cores)
Clinical quality measures
XML file generated for CQM reports (QRDA-III)
Clinical findings
Meaningful Use criteria
Alerts generated
Vitals measured
Referral letters provided

 

Once report is generated, the following are common points the user can keep in mind while working with the reports. The users can:

 

Click theINSYNC~1_img109icon on the top toolbar to print the report.
Click theINSYNC~1_img110icon to export the file. Select the File Format from the drop-down list. Select the appropriate option for Page Range. If the Select Pages option is selected, enter the page number From and To in the text fields available. Click Export.
Click theINSYNC~1_img474icon to search for a text in the report. Enter the text in the Text field near the icon and click the same icon to search.
To navigate between different pages of the report, use the previous page arrow (INSYNC~1_img475) and right page arrows (INSYNC~1_img476).
To navigate to first page or last page, click the Page Navigation optionINSYNC~1_img477 and select First Page or Last Page from the drop-down list. You can also type the page number in the field near the same option and press the Enter key on the keyboard to navigate to that page.
To zoom in or zoom out, click the zoom optionINSYNC~1_img477 and select the necessary percentage from the drop-down list. By default, 100% is selected.
