| • | Patient’s demographic details such as DOB, sex, race, ethnicity, and preferred language should have been recorded. |
How can I increase Denominator in InSync?
Ensure that an encounter is started within reporting period.
To start an encounter:
| • | From the top menu bar, click Patient Search. |
| • | Click Facesheet adjacent to the patient name. |
| • | Click the Start Encounter button. |
How can I increase Numerator in InSync?
Ensure that patient’s demographic details such as DOB, sex, race, ethnicity, and preferred language are recorded, or else an option is selected in case if patient has declined to provide these details.
To record patient’s demographic details:
| • | From the left menu options, select Patients > Add Patient. |
| • | Enter Date of Birth (DOB), Sex, Race, Ethnicity, and Preferred Language |

| • | Select the “Patient declined / unable to provide Race, Ethnicity and /or Preferred Language” check box. |
