Accessing Orders and Results From Different Sections

The Results/Orders Queue link on the charting elements ribbon is the original place from where you can work with order and results; however, there are also various sections in the system from which you can access the orders and results. These sections are mentioned below.
Following are the additional sections to place orders electronically:
| • | On the Dashboard, click the Unprocessed link below eOrder. |
| • | On the Facesheet screen, expand the Pending Services panel. |
| • | In the charting elements ribbon, click Treatment Plan and then click Labs link. |
Note: In the Treatment Plan screen, you cannot place orders for radiology tests.
Additional sections to download results electronically are:
| • | On the Dashboard, click the New or Abnormal link below eResult. |
| • | On the Facesheet screen, expand the Results panel. |
The section to place orders manually is:
| • | In the charting elements ribbon, click Treatment Plan and then click Labs, Radiology, or Special Studies link. |
An additional section to add results manually is:
| • | On the Facesheet screen, expand the Results panel. |
